CASE Marine Science

Introduction

CASE offers a three year middle school program on marine science.  This is a comprehensive program that builds each year.  We are one of the few middle schools in the area that offers marine science.  Our program is built around the Polk County high school curriculum and will give students an introduction into marine science that will prepare them for the high school course.  Come visit us!

3 Year Program

• Year 1:  Introduction to marine science including oceanography and the ecology of the ocean. 
• Year 2: Marine biology, careers, and conservation.
• Year 3: Intensive focus on the marine ecosystems of Florida, including the Florida Keys, Aquifers, Barrier Islands, and the Everglades.
